It took three years for Maja Puškarić, solopreneur, branding expert and educator to get a proper Asperger’s diagnosis for her son, Gabrijel. Facing countless obstacles and skepticism from experts, she never gave up. In search of better support, she moved her family from Croatia to Austria, hoping for a system that would help her child thrive.
Now, many years later, 17-year-old Gabrijel and Maja are starting a weighted blanket company. Gabrijel found comfort and calm in weighted blankets, and now, they want to share that comfort with others who need it most.
Prior to this entrepreneurial journey, Maja already made several products that help neurodivergent children in their reading and writing school work.
