JOB DESCRIPTION

An arc welder joins metal parts using heat generated by an electric arc. They apply various welding techniques (e.g. MIG/MAG, TIG, stick welding) depending on the material and project requirements. The role includes surface preparation, reading technical drawings, and quality control of welds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  1. Manufacturing plants, shipyards, construction companies
  1. Indoor and outdoor work
  2. Often in challenging conditions: heights, confined spaces, high temperatures
  3. Mandatory protective gear (helmet, gloves, suit, boots)
