Miguel Castelo-Branco, neuroscientist, researcher and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Coimbra, gives us an insight into his 30+ year-long career and the progress he saw over the years when it comes to the human brain.
He shares the clinical trials they do, the importance of serious games that help people on the autism spectrum in their daily lives like in public transportation or while cooking, as well as the challenges that come with it.
Lastly, he gives his perspective as a father of young adult on the autism spectrum and how to “do it all” since Miguel holds many positions that help progress both the science and life of people on the autism spectrum and their families.
