Last week, from March 17 to 21, 2025, the transnational project team was in the Hungarian city of Gyöngyös for a meeting and training. The host was a partner in our Erasmus+ project Green ASC VET – Metautism – @Learn Virtual Europe. In addition to the quality of the tasks performed, I would like to highlight something in this post that impressed me personally.
When you enter the Learn Virtual Europe training center, you will be amazed.
In one place, you will find countless opportunities for education and training in the XR environment. MIMBUS, Tenstar Simulation AB, zSpace, Inc., Apolostudio etc. all in one space. We trained, we experienced, we were thrilled. Some of us showed abilities that we concluded we could work on in the future.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we confirmed the thesis from the project proposal that trainings that can be performed in front of a flat screen or in a virtual environment are really good for autistic people and not only for them.
Such trainings are green, efficient, economical and safe. The programs we will develop for such trainings, I am sure, will be of great benefit to people on the spectrum.
